Looking to upgrade crankset. Will a grx600 work with a 8speed 1x, Sora medium cage derailer, 11-34 cassette?

Hey Sr89hot.
Interesting setup you have there with the Sora single chainring and 1x8 drivetrain. What's your current crankset and do you race CX?
