Another veteran ending career, this time it's austrian Bernhard Eisel at solid age 39. I'd forgotten about this guy, he was a leader and strong leadout. Last win came 10 years ago in Gent Wevelgem. Seems so long ago but then you look at his other (more hidden) stats. 12 Tour de France starts! 16 Paris-Roubaix starts and 16 finishes! Impressive numbers. Was part of Wiggin's tour winning team. Big support for Cavendish.
