Replacement derailers
#1
I had the shimano sis ty rd20 junk derailers give up the ship and found out how cheap they were thanks to alex. I called a friend of mine and this is what he is offering me.
Suntour ARX front and rear derailers. I was given a set never been used. Are they ok or should I just wait till I can afford some of the newer high end sets.

I'm not very familiar with either of the ones you mention. but I wouldn't recommend putting high-end derailleurs on a bike that came with low end ones. Better derailleurs do work better. But you won't feel much improvement putting a fancy derailleur on a drive train where everything else is low grade. If the Suntour's are suitable for your bike (mtn vs. road, able to handle your gear ratios, etc.), use them and save your money up for a better bike.
