My Ross Bike
#1
My 90's Ross Road bike. It was my dad's for 5 years from 2000 to 2005, then let me have it, gave it to me in 2012. He used it to go to work and back. It's a nice bike. Tell me what you think of it. Do you like it?

I now understand what you were trying to tell me about the spray, different kinds of spray for different purposes. I sprayed my chain with lube oil. And I will stick with my bike the way it is for right now until I need to change things out. And thank you for your help.

How do I change the settings? I looked but can't find the right options.

To change settings click options on right top of this page and in the box for messaging third line needs to be checked. To receive PM..

AS per bike depends what you want to do with it. For now a complete service would be good start. Waterproof automotive grease is good choice for, wheel, crank and head bearings. Put in new bearings, Check cones. Bearings are available at bike shops and hardware stores. Bring sample.

BTW I'd loose the cruiser seat for start.
Never Give Up!!!

Its a beach cruiser seat, and not all that good. You can get a good road bike seat for it. If you like it keep it.

I'll change it. Are there any cushion options out there for road bike seats?

I should just stick with the way my bike is right now, and then when it's time for upgrade I will upgrade it then. I also use lube oil from Liquid wrench.
