What kind of seat is this and it is worth anything or not

I got this bicycle seat that looks old but it says on the bracket persons u.s.a ill put a pic of it up soon so someone can tell me what it is

Is it plastic - then a couple $ at most. If it is leather, and in good shape, it may be worth more. If it is leather, and not in good shape, take it to a saddle shop and ask them if it can be salvaged.
