SRAM to Shimano Cassette Compatibility
#1
I'm running a full SRAM X9 / X0 on my hard tail with XT discs. I want to move from 2x10 to 1x10 set up. The biggest cost is the cassette to give me more choice will a Shimano cassette fit onto a SRAM ready hub?

Yes, SRAM, Shimano, Sunrace, DNP and Miche for Shimano are interchangeable as whole assemblies; and in many cases at the individual cog level. My commuter is currently running a DNP last cog with a Shimano cassette. Our tandem has a SRAM cassette currently.
