How To replace broken spoke?
#1
I discovered a broken spoke and in process of replacing it, can't figure out how to install the replacement. The video tutorial shows how to replace a spoke that you can drop the spoke into its hole in the hub with it going to the outside of the wheel. The one I have to replace has to be inserted the opposite way and short of bending the spoke to avoid the spokes on the other side I can't /won't be able to get it into position.

It is fine to bend the spoke so it can pass over the spokes on the opposite side. Just be carefully to only bend it in a long smooth curve. Do not put any sharp kinks or bends.
Once you have it laced in, try to take the bend out before you tension it. And make sure to follow the same over/under pattern that the other spokes have.
