Exchange Rear Cassette
#1
I watched the how to on this site and that was great. It made it seem very simple and straightforward. One of the sprockets broke on my road bike while I was climbing a hill, and I need to get a new one.

My question is: Can I switch out my 9 speed SRAM rear cassette with a Shimano Ultegra 9 speed cassette?

All of my components are Shimano Tiagra besides my rear cassette.

All Shimano 9 speed cassettes are interchangeable. SRAM is (to the best of my knowledge) fully Shimano compatible. So: yes, you can do that. And: change the chain, too.
