Totally Clueless...
#1
This is probably a really stupid question but...I recently got my bike out of the attic (couldn't even tell you what brand, but it is a mountain bike with multiple gears). I went to ride it and it goes at first but its almost like it looses control? I can keep pedaling but it won't go...its like I have no control? I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me but I don't even know how to fix it because I don't even know what the problem is. Thanks.

Pretty hard to help based on this limited description. Maybe you are saying that when you pedal, the gear cluster in the back turns, but the wheel does not? If so, it may just need some oiling in the back gears or you may have some faulty parts. But you may want to take it into a bike shop unless you feel up to spending some time to work out what exactly is happening and then someone here could give you better advice. Good luck
