#1
Weren't a few of you (nfmisso too) liking the wal mart marine lube & grease gun for BB & wheel bearings? Is it the 3oz tubes with this mini grease gun?

Hi Jeff;

I bought this:

and use a plastic knife to put it where I want it.

I use this one in a tub, I apply grease by hand. Cannot think of any grease fittings on bike.

I used a simple lithium grease for important threads and bearings its a white in colour.

I also use TF2 a really good teflon based spray lube which is great for the chain and cables etc but Im not sure if this should be used on bearings or important threads like the BB. Anyone give any advice on that?

Thanks

Lithium grease will work, but marine grade waterproof grease is superior.
Here we have Tri Flow teflon spray. Its good for cables , shifters, deraileurs etc, but for bearings you need grease.

Call me lazy & uncoordinated, but I like having some kind of nozzle to apply grease to cup & race type bearings.
