SAVA Explorer 6061?
#1
Just came across this SAVA Explorer 6061 Alloy Road Bicycle on Costco’s website. The specs look pretty solid—lightweight alloy frame, carbon fiber fork, and Shimano Tiagra drivetrain. Has anyone tried a SAVA bike before? Is it worth getting?

Czech made? Possible customer service issues. Entry level groupset. Probably an "old" model (previous model year), or lower end model made for costco. Look up the model on the Sava website and see it it is offered.

This comes from China, contrary to popular belief about bikes at this price range, this actually has the latest Tiagra model they only use the cheaper Rim brake version that uses a cable actuated disc brake(pretty ok to start but im pretty sure this would get upgraded anyway), wheel set would also need a lot of servicing maybe every 1000kms have them checked because the bearing on the hubs don't last long (buyers usually use the savings to buy a better wheel set anyway too) so all in all this is a very nice bang for buck bike. This bikes comes in handy for people who want a racier geometry but their wallets won't let them spend for an actual racebike, and do also note that these come in asian sizes so they are smallish. Better to try them out in person if you plan to get one

PS: Crank is usually Prowheel and not Tiagra( we usually advice customers to wear out the bottom bracket first before deciding to purchase an actual Tiagra Crank)
