What bad habits in cycling?

I think, bobbing the head Up and down by the ears is one of the bad habits.

I could give a Tedx talk on this, but narrowing it down to one. I would say is overtaking people from the right. Just let people know you're approaching from the right at least!

Braking in a pace line- not wearing a helmet- riding against traffic- throwing trash/wrappers on the ground. Talha, I don't know what Tedx is, but yes, I could give a longer list. Most involve common sense and safety involving maybe the more casual rider, Beach cruisers, riding in flip-flops, in a bike lane, texting on the phone, wearing headphones, for example.....

This!

Failing to announce your impending pass is such poor form. In fact, the closest I've ever come to bad crashes on a bike have been other cyclists rocketing past inches away from me, with no warning whatsoever.

Wearing all dark clothing, with no lights and nothing reflective or bright to make you visible on the road.

It's particularly bad in the countryside on bright sunny days as cyclists disappear in the deep shadows on narrow country roads.

The other one is mums out cycling with their kids on the road, no helmets on the mums and no lights or bright colours on any of them.

More of a trail bad habit, but just sitting in blind spots on the trail. When you come down a trail with some speed and just miss someone standing in a blind spot behind a turn or tree, can send a few people to hospital pretty quick.

Yeah, that's a good one. I just do not understand why people don't get off the trail.

Locking out your elbows with shoulders up to your ears. I’m guilty of it.
