#1
13.1% is the lowest percentage of adults in England who claim to cycle at least once a month since data began in 2015–16.
According to The Grauniad.

Do you believe there is any basis for this?

Well, I believe that the majority of individuals are quitting up due to the requirement that they wear helmets.
Helmets, however, should be viewed as an accessory rather than as a necessity. Driving and walking are each just as risky as cycling, but neither one requires a helmet.

Cycling gets taxing on people when they struggle to keep up with the maintenance and everything.

If they burn themselves out from doing it too much. If they have to commute to cycle. There's a lot more possible factors here.
