Specialized Bar Phat
#1
Had my bars wrapped by a shop awhile back when I started this conversion job on my Transeo 5.0.

The shopkeeper taped the lines to the bottom of the bar. It was pretty uncomfortable, and I think misses the purpose of the bar phat entirely. I had to go over the job and fix the lines and the gel. If anyone is interested in trying this, you can run the lines over top of the bar and then put the gel over them to totally neutralize any discomfort. I would imagine that the lines on the gel pieces for the top bar would be an inclination towards this potential.

For anyone who doesn't have money or means for a thru-cable drop bar, this is a go-to option.

Everything looks and feels 100% better now.
