Salsa Beargrease 2021 Cabobon X01 Eagle
#1
When I finally got around to making my mind up about this bike, it was sold out.

Just asking actual owner's opinions and experience with this bike. Folks have been trying to sell me alternatives but I'm sort of sold on this bike.

Looks like I'll have to wait until next season to get one; I'm looking a M Pink/Purple if anyone would like to sell it to me.

Would love to hear from you guys.

Be safe,
Pinebaron in WA

Thanks, I did see that but that's the only review I'm aware of.

What are the alternatives and why are you sold on Beargrease? I like the look of it + the SRAM components are solid. However, I have no experience/opinion about SUN Ringle Mulefüt rims though.

Being an ablsolute novice to the bike scene, I don't see many known fat bikes in that class although I just also started looking at Trek Farley 9.8 whilst another dealer also talked about an Otso Voytek. I basically want an all seasons carbon bike which is light and sturdy. can take 29+ wheels for summer/pavement use and uses or is compatible with the best high end components.

Not being able to get the bikes I want, I'm now leaning over to MTB and although facing similar challenges in bike availability, there's a wider choice of bikes I like. and significantly more MTB activity around where I live. I'll report back what I end up getting.
