How was bike commute today?

Let's share our bike commute experiences! There must be many of us, folks who commute by bike daily. How was the traffic? Did some driver flipped you off and gave the finger? Did you see something funny on the way? Did you come up with astonishing ideas? Any fails? Let's laugh about them together!

This morning I was in hurry and forgot the gloves. Brrr how were my fingers freezing! Lesson of the day, from now on there will be thin emergency gloves in the inner pocket of my commuting jacket. JUST IN CASE. Not a crazy story, but it's a start.

Tasted pavement today cuz some jerk did not look in the mirror before opening the car door!!

I have become tough on the bike and very alert. In other words, my eyes are always scanning its 180 degree view and predicting potential scenarios of a distaster(s). Open car door, jaywalker jumping in front of the bike path, trees falling ... it comes with experience. I learned the hard way too.

I totally get you but sometimes it is too unpredictable.
