Trek introduces concussion care for team cyclists
#1
finally something that evaluates cyclist health after a crash -> riders fall often and in the adrenaline rush or blur can unintentionally ignore any concussion signs ...

"Trek-Segafredo proudly announces a partnership with HeadCheck Health, Inc. The company’s unique concussion assessment tool, HeadCheck, fortifies head injury management for riders using evidence-based science, cycling-specific modifications, and smartphone technology. This new tool enables Trek-Segafredo medical staff to rapidly and accurately assess concussions as well as track rider recovery."

Good news. Lets look back at Trek-Segafredo team's current rider (he was @ Cannondale back then) Skujins crashing during Tour of California 2017 stage and getting back on bike with very clear signs of concussion.

oh jeeez I had forgotten about this Skujins case ... it felt very unpleasant watching that video with all riders passing by on >60km/h or >95mph and him wobbling down the road -> very noticeable concussion and how did the mechanic and officials allow him to keep biking ?

Is this also done @ all the concussion sports - boxing and MMA, NFL, hockey?
