Newbie from California

Long story made short ;-) After a few surgeries (knee, shoulder) that took me off the bike for several years, I'm all mended and taking short rides of a few miles again. No more rough terrain riding. Can't afford to re-injure but can ride trails and streets that are all around my area. No pain is awesome.
My "old" Tassajara has been sitting garaged and is still all functional; can't make myself part with it. Not a high-end model (no suspension-solid fork) but I do love riding it.

Will be tuning it up, new saddle (for comfort). Don't plan on modifying it other than replacing worn parts and making it as comfortable a bike for recreational riding as possible. So glad I found this place!

Northern CA guy. 25 miles east of Sacramento. Nice trails and streets to ride for miles on. As crazy as it can be here, for riding it's very cool.

My brother lives in Eldorado Hills. We rode our tandem around Lake Natoma a couple of years ago - nice ride.
