Usually, 15 mm wrench...Go to a hardware store near you with the nut, they help you find one, or your LBS

There are four possibilities:

M10 x 1
M10 x 1.25
3/8 x 24 threads per inch
3/8 x 26 threads per inch

All are available from Amazon.

i have some 3/8 x 24s here, they fit on, but dont screw on past the first few threads, i originally thought they were 3/8ths x 26 but im not certain

as for the metric ones, i had someone tell me they were metric before, then someone tell me they were 3/8ths

All four are close enough, that any of the others will go one a revolution of so.

All of mine that have threads are M10 x 1; which is the size Shimano and most Asian manufacturers use.
