EcoTech Degreaser - dispose how?
#1
Hi,

Following some of the advice on this great website, I've finished cleaning and maintaining by bike. It works again! Yeah.

Now, for cleanup: I have a 2L Coke bottle filled with Finish Line EcoTech Degreaser + grime + oil from a -previously- very dirty chain. What do I do with this mix? Where can I dispose of it safely?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks,
-Alex

Check with your local trash department on how to dispose of household chemicals. Most have a drop off site nowadays. You can also look on earth911.com to see if they list anything.

I don't think that EcoTech is biodegradable, so it shouldn't be poured down the drain. And, as you point out, even if it was, the used stuff is contaminated with the oils that came off the chain anyway.

Thanks for not just dumping the stuff like most people do!
