New chain for 6sp Shimano Positron
#1
Hey there! I need a new chain for my bike. It has a Shimano Positron (6sp rear) group. Can I use a modern 8sp chain (narrower)?

Thanks

I suggest this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Shimano-CN-HG70-8-Speed-Chain-Black/dp/B0013EP7IW/

I have had very good mileage from them on my 7 speed.

For 8 and 9 speed; I prefer SRAM; though they have noticeably less life.
