Dynamo Hub

I recently bought a cheap bike simply to take the dog out. Works great for my purposes. Now I want to add a dynamo for a little project. I'd prefer to use a hub dynamo. Using google I found some fairly cheap hub dynamos made by SRAM. The exact one I am looking at is right here.

Will this particular hub work for any wheel? If not, what do I need to lookout for? On average, what should it cost to have a bike shop install something like this? Finally, are there any cheaper hub dynamos out there?

The '32H' in the model designation means that it is drilled (H = hole) for 32 spokes. So, the rim it is laced to must also be 32 hole.
You also need to be certain that your dropouts on the fork will accept the hubs axle. If your current wheel uses a QR (quick release), you're safe.
Wheel-building prices will vary by where you live, the skill of the builder and other factors. Expect a minimum of $50 US labor.
